Dr. Giovanni Solano is originally from Barranquilla, Colombia. He graduated from Universidad Metropolitana, College of Dentistry in 1989; where he later became part of the faculty for four years. Eventually he decided to move to the United States where he graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. He is a Senior Pastor at Misión Familia and is also happily married with three children.

Dr. Solano continues to further his education by taking continuing education courses regularly. He is trained in a range of preventative treatment as well as the latest cosmetic and restorative dentistry. These treatments include but are not limited to: porcelain crowns, silver free fillings, implants, bridges, root canals, extractions, removable dentures, teeth whitening and clear braces.
